Experiencing a growth phase, they are actively seeking a Business Development Manager within Sydney to join the team. The BDM will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, fostering strong and loyal relationships with key stakeholders. Whilst gaining access to a comprehensive portfolio of essential products for commercial buildings, tailor your approach to regional industries, identifying key users to expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base within the building materials industry.
Identify and prioritise new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship building.
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and other industry professionals to promote our products and services.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on customer needs, project requirements, and product offerings.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both the company and the client.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role within the building materials industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes and building materials, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and effectively.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing market share.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse data and market trends to drive business decisions.
Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Salary Expectations
$110,000 - $130,000 + Super + Company Car + Comms
