Are you a Human Resources professional who is looking to take ownership of graduate and clerkship recruitment while working closely with a dynamic and supportive Head of HR?

Ampersand have partnered with a high-profile global law firm known for its collaborative culture, down-to-earth approach, and genuine commitment to developing its people. Based from their Sydney office, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-regarded HR and People team in a broad generalist role with a focus on early careers recruitment.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading the end-to-end graduate and clerkship recruitment process – from attending university events and building campus relationships, through to sitting in on interviews with Partners and managing onboarding
• Supporting the Head of HR across the full employee lifecycle including employee relations, performance management, engagement initiatives, and HR projects
• Providing first-line HR advice to employees and managers in the Sydney office
• Assisting with the delivery of national people initiatives and programs

What we're looking for:

• Experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment
• Exposure to or a keen interest in early careers recruitment
• Strong relationship-building skills – you’re confident dealing with stakeholders at all levels
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
