Access Lifecare is a trusted NDIS provider, delivering person-centered care and allied health services across ACT, Queensland, and New South Wales. As we grow, we’re looking for a committed Human Resource Officer who brings more than just administrative capability — someone ready to play an active role in staff coordination, compliance, and workplace support.

About the Role:

As a Human Resource Officer at Access Lifecare, you will be a key team member in managing HR operations that directly impact staff well-being, compliance, and organisational culture. You will support the full employee lifecycle and act as a contact point for managers and staff, contributing to effective HR practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including posting vacancies, screening candidates, arranging interviews, and liaising with hiring managers.

Deliver and improve onboarding and induction programs to help new staff understand policies, compliance requirements, and Access Lifecare values.

Ensure personnel records and compliance documents (e.g., police checks, certifications, contracts) are accurate and up to date in the HR system.

Provide HR advice to staff and supervisors on basic workplace relations, entitlements, and employment conditions in line with Fair Work and award requirements.

Assist with the review and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and reporting for audits or NDIS compliance checks.

Collaborate with senior HR staff on initiatives such as staff engagement, cultural inclusion, and workplace safety.

Support the development and tracking of performance management processes and staff development plans.

What You’ll Bring:

Tertiary qualifications or Certificate IV/Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

Previous HR experience (minimum 1–2 years), ideally in community services, healthcare, or disability support.

Understanding of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work obligations, and modern awards.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.

Proficient in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office tools.

A commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and people-focused service.

Why Join Us?

Be part of meaningful work that supports people with disabilities to live with dignity and independence.

Join a supportive HR team that values your input and professional growth.

Access flexible work arrangements, career development opportunities, and sector-specific training.

Work in a culturally inclusive, client-focused organisation that values staff contribution and well-being.
