Key Responsibilities:

• Full month-end accounting - P&L, accruals, prepayments, variance analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations, cheque processing
• General ledger maintenance and journal entries
• Allocating payments to debtor accounts, issuing refunds, and confirming invoice settlements
• Assist with year-end reporting
• Respond to internal and external stakeholder queries
• Assisting with process improvements and system enhancements

Skills & Experience required:

• 2-3 years of accounting experience, ideally in high-volume environments
• Previous exposure to month-end processes
• Experience using MYOB Advanced (highly regarded)
• Strong Excel skills - vlookups and pivot tables
• Excellent communication, organisation, and time management
• Proactive attitude - switched-on, eager to learn, and take initiative
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative, energetic environment
• Happy to commit to 5 days working in the office to receive full onsite training and take the next step in career
