About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will play a crucial role in the finance team, driving accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across key accounting functions. Your expertise will support critical financial operations and decision-making. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Assist accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and reconciliation.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and suppliers.
• Maintain and update financial records with a high level of accuracy.
• Support ad hoc financial projects and reporting as required.

About You
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and assisting with various accounting functions. • CA or CPA qualified or currently studying towards it
• Experience as an Assistant Accountant in the construction or engineering industry
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
• 3 + years experiencing in a asisstant accountant role
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Intermediate excel skills
