Our client, a growing professional services firm, is seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join their Corporate Services team. This permanent role offers both flexibility and the chance to be mentored by an experienced Finance Manager. It’s ideal for someone with solid transactional experience looking to deepen their skill set and grow within the business

Key Responsibilities

• Daily bank transaction capture and reconciliation
• Processing of accounts payable and receivable
• Month-end billing and debt collection
• Trust accounting and support for annual audits
• Support in month-end reconciliations and journal processing
• Credit card reconciliations using ExpenseMe
• Budget assistance and ad hoc reporting tasks
• Ensuring system integrity across Xero and Actionstep

Profile

• Candidates must hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 3+ years bookkeeping or assistant accounting experience
• Proficient in Xero
• Professional, reliable, and strong communicator
• Working towards CA/CPA
