We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic, solution driven Sales Consultant with a can do attitude and a passion for offroading, overlanding and 4WDing to join our dynamic team.

Patriot Campers specialises in the design and manufacture of quality and award-winning camper trailers and Toy-Haulers. We manufacture directly from the company's premises in Queensland and also through a distribution network of dealers located across Australia and Internationally. Our mandate is to focus on producing quality products, continue to innovate and strive to exceed our customer expectations by providing outstanding customer service and care.
The Role
The primary role of the Sales Consultant is to sell directly to customers from Patriot Campers’ head office on the Gold Coast. The Sales Consultant will build strong relationships with customers as they progress through the sales process, keeping all lead and administration systems up to date with customer information.
The Sales Consultant will become extremely familiar with Patriot Campers’ range, and will demonstrate the models to both prospective customers during the sales process and at tradeshows, and to new customers who have recently collected their camper trailer. Due to the nature of international sales, this will sometimes be done via video link.
The Sales Consultant is responsible for increasing sales figures by finding new partnerships/dealers and demonstrating product and or services value. They are to meet weekly, monthly and annual sales quotas through successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Sales Consultant for Patriot Campers business entity include, but are not limited to;
- Monthly sales forecast update (updated weekly)
- Quarterly Competitor activity update
- Achieve agreed upon, assigned sales targets and outcomes as set out in the Sales & Marketing Plan
- Present, promote and sell products to Customers
- Conduct product demonstration handovers to new customers, often via video link
- Provide Customer support where needed
- Take a proactive approach to developing new business through obtaining new customers, through new markets, product development and the enhancement of existing sales
- Respond to assigned Customer enquiries within 48 business hours.
- Attendance at all major Trade Shows and others as required and approved in the Sales & Marketing budget
- Become an industry expert and stay abreast of all competitor activity
- Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Maintain databases and company records
- Any other tasks as set out by The Management Team and the Sales & Customer Care Manager
- Provide management with reports as required, including:
- Tuesday to Saturday showroom hours
Skills Required:
- Proven work experience as a sales representative and exceptional customer service skills
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Ability to manage repeat activities such as follow-up calls and emails
- Exceptional product knowledge
Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent in Sales related qualification(s) - Industry Specific
- Minimum 4 years industry sales experience
