Summary

The Manager (Hybrid Learning) is responsible for leading the coordination, delivery, and implementation of the BCE-wide Hybrid Learning Program. This role ensures alignment with BCE approved frameworks, industry best practices, and statutory requirements, while enhancing the future-focused learning experience for staff, students, teachers, and parents.

• Location: BCE Office - Woolloongabba
• Work hours: Full-time | Flexible working arrangements available
• Salary Range: $219,150 - $243,500 - total package including super and access to a motor vehicle
• Status: Fixed term | Finishing: 31 December 2027
• Ad Closing Date: 21 April 2025

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Lead the Hybrid Learning Program across BCE, collaborating with the IT Leadership Team to ensure system alignment and effectiveness, and driving transformation through service, support, and leadership for Brisbane Catholic Education.
• Lead best practice initiatives to improve outcomes for current and future projects, and liaise, consult, and collaborate with stakeholders to support planning, development, and execution of their plans and projects.
• Manage and influence the development of strategic vision and objectives of Hybrid Learning, providing advanced consultancy, advice, support, and coordination to stakeholders across the organisation.
• Manage a multi-disciplinary team of specialists to develop a high-performance team focused on outcomes, and foster and maintain close relationships within BCE to enable a robust planning process.
• Foster and maintain strategic partnerships with key partners in education and IT industries.
• Ensuring best practice initiatives are used to improve outcomes for current and future projects.
• Providing subject matter expertise, information, and advice to guide and support the Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, Executive and Leadership Team.
• Supporting strategic planning, operational planning, human resource management, and financial management for the department.

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

• Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans.
• Strong understanding of the business, scale of operations, and culture of BCE as a major P-12 education provider.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective communication between stakeholders that aligns with BCE values and enables community engagement based on shared needs and interests.
• Proven ability to actively contribute as a leader within your specialist function to support strategic planning, operational planning, human resource management, and financial management.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams or departments and positively influence outcomes.
• Being a member of a Senior Leadership Team and providing subject matter expertise to Executive level.
• Relevant Post-graduate qualifications and/or extensive experience in hybrid learning, education, information technology, business, or another relevant field. Post-graduate qualifications are preferable.

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
• Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children.
