We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager across ICT Billing solutions and CRM systems for a commercial client based in Brisbane CBD for a 12 month contract with further extensions. You will lead a cross-functional team, manage multiple vendors, and engage with executive stakeholders to drive these strategic technology initiatives, and ideally have extensive experience across ICT Billing solutions and CRM systems.

This role requires a highly driven, action-oriented leader who gets the job done, and inspires teams to deliver their best work. You will balance technical excellence with commercial acumen, ensuring that solutions are innovative, cost-effective, and aligned with the organisations business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct these strategically important IT projects to completion, ensuring successful outcomes.
• Manage and inspire a cross-functional team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with business owners/subject matter experts, ensuring the delivered solutions meet business needs.
• Prepare and deliver effective presentations to C-suite executives and board members, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.
• Oversee multiple vendors, ensuring deliverables meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations.
• Drive innovation and creative problem-solving to maximise scope delivery and process improvement within financial constraints.
• Ensure rigorous risk and issue management, proactively mitigating potential roadblocks.
• Own and manage the budget, forecasting, and financial performance of the project, including and establishing effective performance measures.
• Champion change management and adoption strategies to ensure seamless transitions for end users.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
• Lead effective engagement in project audit and assurance activities, including the timely response to findings and action items

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in technology project management roles.
• Strong experience across ICT billing systems/solutions.
• Good exposure to the delivery of CRM solutions.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, enterprise IT projects.
• Deep understanding of project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
• Ability to utilise project management tools effectively to manage the project (eg. Project Online)
• Strong vendor management experience, including contract negotiation and SLA enforcement.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for large projects.
