In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new HR & Payroll solution. You’ll oversee foundational planning, data migration, governance activities, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful delivery of this high-impact project.

What you’ll be doing

• Scoping, documenting, and delivering a complex HR & Payroll system implementation.
• Scoping stakeholder engagement, collaborating with executives, project boards, and functional leads.
• Scoping and managing project teams across design, implementation, training, and maintenance.
• Scoping project progress, tracking key milestones, and ensuring compliance with governance frameworks.
• Scoping risks, identifying mitigation strategies, and handling escalations.
• Scoping operational aspects, including reporting, planning, and communications.

What you need to bring

• Proven experience delivering large-scale HCM implementations, including payroll migrations.
• Extensive background in SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in SAP/SuccessFactors implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, balancing scope, time, and budget.
• Strong experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
• Expertise in Microsoft Project and other project management tools.

• Applying change management processes to large, hierarchical organisations.
• Resolving complex project challenges with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effectively liaising with executives, vendors, and stakeholder groups.
• Holding a degree in IT, Business, or Human Resources.
