The Opportunity

Our client is a leading financial services business, backed by a renowned private-equity firm. They have grown significantly, going from strength to strength under an exceptional leadership team.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an ambitious, dynamic Accounting graduate. Possibly you will have 1-3 years' experience in accounts in industry or you may have spent 1-2 years' in a boutique or mid-tier Chartered firm looking to make an early move into industry.

The Challenge

Supporting the Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller, you will be assisting with the following duties:

• Assisting in month end close procedures, including journal posting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Processing commission payments
• Preparation and lodgement of Payment Times Reporting
• Responsibility for the accounts payable function
• Drive process improvements
• Providing ad-hoc support to the broader finance team

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• CPA/CA qualified or currently studying
• 1-2 years experience working within a relevant role
• Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance or Accounting
• Experience with a ERP system is a benefit but not essential
• Strong communication and personable skills and the ability to build trust and influence key stakeholders
