What You’ll Do: A Day in the Life
As a BDR at Birdeye, you’ll work closely with our business development leader, paving the way for your advancement to Account Executive or Senior BDR within 6-12 months. You’ll be part of a supportive, fast-paced environment designed to foster your growth and success.
This role is to support our AE's in our SME Segment.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting online research to identify potential clients
Create successful cold calling and email campaigns targeting new prospects
Generating leads and setting appointments
Identifying champions and key stakeholders within target accounts
Partner with our account executive team to help generate meetings, build sales pipeline and drive deals
Participating in the meetings you book to sharpen your skills in line as you transition to AE.
This role is ideal for someone with a “Hunter & Gatherer” mentality, eager to seize opportunities and succeed.

Base Salary: $70-$80K+Super (Paid Fortnightly)

What You Bring
Based in Sydney
At least 1-2 years outbound cold calling sales experience (ideally in SaaS but will consider other environments).
A track record of achieving sales quotas
Proven experience in high-volume sales (B2B or B2C)
Track record of success in outbound cold calling and hitting sales KPIs
A competitive, goal-oriented nature
Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent time management skills.
Confidence in engaging with business owners
Proficiency in Google Suite and strong organizational skills
Excellent time management skills.
Work Location
Our new office location is located in the Sydney Corporate Park, Alexandria.
