The Builder
The employer is an established house builder located in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. With a solid pipeline of work, they offer secure employment, approachable management and Directors, and good pay. They build throughout Victoria, often in beautiful areas including the Great Ocean Road and on the coast around the NSW border. Many of their projects are custom homes designed by their in-house Registered Architect.

The Role
They are looking for a Pre-Site Administrator or similar to step into a Pre-Con Manager role. In this position you will report to the Operations Manager and co-ordinate the Pre-Construction process, drawing together information and documentation from the Design and Drafting team, external consultants, and the client, as you ensure the relevant council approvals are received, with support from a Permit Administrator.

They also have a Senior Pre-Con Manager on the team who will help guide you as you learn their process. As such this role would be suited to someone with a year or two of experience with a volume builder who wants to develop their skills by learning how to manage the Pre-Con phase of more complex custom projects. More experienced candidates will also be considered.

About you
- At least 2 years' experience of house building in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills and customer service
- An understanding of the construction process
- Understanding of planning codes & statutory requirements (Rescode, NCC)
- Hard working and self-motivated
