Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced Business Development Officer to join their high-performing Client Acquisition team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to step into a growth-focused role within the debtor and trade finance space.

As Business Development Officer, you will work closely with Business Development Managers to support the full acquisition process from initial prospect engagement through to credit submission and settlement. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing high-quality credit submissions with supporting analysis
• Liaising with prospects, introducers, and internal stakeholders
• Assisting with settlement processes and take-ons
• Developing and maintaining strong referral networks
• Supporting sales initiatives and events

The ideal candidate will bring experience in debtor finance, trade finance, or equipment finance, with a strong understanding of B2B lending and working capital solutions. You’ll be proactive, detail-oriented, and confident building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
