Quest Burwood East is a business-driven, guest-focused property, and we are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive revenue growth, build strong corporate relationships, and secure new business opportunities.

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying and growing corporate business accounts while ensuring our corporate guests experience effortless stays. This is a highly strategic role requiring sales acumen, relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of the local market.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Revenue Management

  • Drive revenue growth by acquiring, developing, and retaining corporate clients.
  • Implement monthly sales action plans and account management strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities through research, networking, and targeted outreach.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to position Quest Burwood East effectively.

Account Management & Client Relations

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients and key industry stakeholders.
  • Regularly meet with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and explore upselling opportunities.
  • Handle client enquiries, negotiate contracts, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM.

Networking & Local Market Engagement

  • Represent Quest Burwood East at industry events, local business associations, and networking opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, corporate travel patterns, and emerging business needs.
  • Collaborate with Quest’s Corporate Sales Team to leverage national and local sales initiatives.

Sales Planning & Reporting

  • Develop weekly and monthly sales reports to track performance against KPIs.
  • Work closely with the Franchise Owner & Management Team to align sales strategies with business goals.
  • Ensure all client interactions and sales activities are recorded and maintained in Salesforce CRM.

About You

You are a driven, proactive, and results-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You love building relationships, understanding business needs, and providing tailored accommodation solutions.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales, business development, or account management role.
  • Background in hospitality, travel, or tourism is preferred.
  • Strong B2B sales experience, with a proven track record in lead generation, acquisition, and client retention.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM or similar sales management systems.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and meet revenue targets.
