About Us: We are a well-established practice with 3 gastroenterologists located at the Sydney Adventist Hospital in Wahroonga. Our dedicated group is made up of 3 Gastroenterologists, a Practice Manager and Practice Nurse. We are committed to providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and professional environment. We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services. You will be a key staff member and highly valued with a supportive working environment. Ongoing training and support provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients with a warm and friendly demeanor

Manage appointment scheduling

Respond to patient enquiries via phone and email

Process payments using EFTPOS and HICAPS terminals, Medicare and DVA

Use Microsoft Office and manage emails efficiently

Support the practice manager with various administrative tasks

Key Requirements:

Excellent written (typing) and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email management

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Prior experience as a medical receptionist using Gentu or other clinical information systems is an advantage but not essential and on the job training will be provided

Competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 per year (pro-rata)

Flexibility in working days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday negotiable). 24 hours per week
