The Company

Our client is a leading global FMCG manufacturer. They are looking for a Junior Import Coordinator for an initial short term assignment, with potential to go permanent.

The Role

As a Junior Import Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth importation of materials and raw ingredients from suppliers worldwide. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations, manage documentation, and assist in streamlining logistics operations.

Duties include:

• Assist in coordinating import shipments and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Coordinate movement of stock from ports to warehouses across Australia and New Zealand.
• Liaise with suppliers
• Ensure compliance with import regulations and company policies.
• Accurate entry of data into ERP system.
• Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the team in resolving import-related challenges efficiently.

Skills & Experience

• Some experience in import/export coordination or logistics is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in logistics and supply chain systems - SAP experience highly regarded
