The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and adaptable Building Cadet to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Project Manager to support the successful delivery of our commercial construction projects. Your responsibilities will include assisting with site operations, managing project documentation, and coordinating various tasks to ensure smooth project execution. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including plans, specifications, and reports.

Support site supervisors and project managers in day-to-day operations.

Assist with coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and report any issues.

Help manage project scheduling, procurement, and inventory control.

Provide administrative support for project-related activities, including cost tracking and documentation filing.

Assist in maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards on-site.

What we are looking for:

A recent graduate or current student in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering.

Experience in a previous role within the construction Industry is desirable.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within the construction industry.

Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Driver's licence and access to a car preferred.
