About the Role

The Cadet Project Manager plays a key support role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction and steel fabrication projects. This entry-level position offers practical, hands-on experience in project management while building skills in communication, scheduling, quality assurance, and Work Health and Safety (WHS) compliance. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine drive to learn and grow. Key Responsibilities

· Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and schedules for personnel and materials.

· Support coordination between clients, subcontractors, site teams, and management.

· Help monitor progress to ensure project delivery meets scope, time, and quality objectives.

· Maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout the lifecycle.

· Ensure activities comply with Australian Standards and internal procedures.

· Provide updates and support to project managers and directors.

Qualifications & Experience

· Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or similar.

· Knowledge of construction and fabrication processes and requirements.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office; exposure to project management software is a plus.

· General Construction Induction (White Card).

· Silica Exposure Prevention

· Asbestos Awareness

· Current unrestricted drivers licence.

· Ability to interpret technical engineering specifications and drawings.
