About the role:
Located within the Social Marketing & Communications (SM&C) Group, the position of Digital Marketing Lead reports to the Digital Marketing Manager.
The Lead has a close working relationship with the Manager and is expected to develop and nurture excellent relationships across program units and key external stakeholders, including staff in government departments and agencies.
Key responsibilities:
- Contributing to the refinement and implementation of a multi-channel content strategy
- Developing and leading a new audience feedback and user testing strategy to support prioritisation and strategic management of our website
- Ensuring all content is user-centered, in plain language, and aligned with government standards and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
- Auditing, reviewing and rewriting existing web content to improve readability, accessibility and usability
- Supervising content governance across web and email channels
About you:
We're looking for someone who has excellent knowledge of UX and UI design fundamentals; excellent copywriting skills, specifically writing in plain language; and experience in data analysis, monitoring and reporting, including experience coordinating and applying audience feedback and user testing results.
Qualifications and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations or similar area
- Experience in developing:
- digital web and email content strategies (essential);
- regular user testing to support strategic decision making (essential); and
- content governance and style guide.
- Experience in communications, public health, community, or government sectors (preferred)

Remuneration: From $95,040 per annum (plus superannuation and other benefits)
