We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Parts Interpreter to join our busy workshop in Kewdale. You will be part of a successful team where your day will be varied and hands-on with heavy industrial parts interpreting activities.

The Role

Reporting to the Director - Sales, the rewarding role will see you interpret, process and support customer parts & dewatering system requirements. Your strong customer service and problem-solving skills will allow you to excel in this role. You will leverage on a variety of communication tools and techniques to ensure prompt turnaround to parts inquiries and system orders. We provide the training and surround you with a supportive team to comfortably embed you into our business.

While this role is pitched at 38 hours a week, for the right applicant we could accommodate some flexibility.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for sales queries

Provide parts interpreting services & support to our remote based clients.

Undertake simple hydraulic modelling using excel.

Prepare sales quotations, orders and dispatch documentation

Assist in ensuring export documentation and shipping requirements are met.

Provide general support to external and internal sales.

Accurate data entry into our ERP system.

Assist our finance team in clients contract terms.

Identify problems relating to the product and process and make recommendations

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience in a similar role within mining or industry highly advantageous

Customer focused with the ability to liaise with internal and external customers

Ability to manage multiple client queries at different stages of maturity.

Understanding of parts sales & supply chain activities

Demonstrable skill in accurate data entry.

Strong communication skills - verbal and written

Exposure to SAP considered an advantage.

Skills in Microsoft Office

Ability to learn varied sales and parts programmes

Current driver’s license

38 hours per week or depending on the candidate a more flexible roster.
