Parts Interpreter – Heavy Vehicle Industry
Location: Forrestfield, WA
Pay Rate: $50–$55 per hour + super (flat rate)
Start: Immediate
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm | Optional Saturday overtime

About the Role
Working alongside a supportive team and reporting to the Parts Supervisor, the Parts Interpreter will be responsible for assisting customers and workshop technicians in identifying, sourcing, and dispatching truck parts — particularly for Kenworth and DAF vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers and internal workshop staff in identifying required parts
• Source and dispatch parts in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare invoices and process parts sales
• Keep customers informed of order status and delivery timelines
• Utilise internal systems and manufacturer catalogues to locate parts
• Assist with stock control, including stocktakes and rotation

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in stores, warehousing, or workshops within the heavy vehicle or related industry
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
