Dobinsons Spring & Suspension, established in 1953, is largely based on the supply of 4x4 suspension components and is one of the leaders in the coil & leaf spring industry in Australia.

We are looking for a 4x4 enthusiast to join our Sydney team (based in Smeaton Grange) as a salesperson / parts interpreter. This position is permanent, full-time (Monday – Friday). You will work alongside our supportive customer service / sales team who will help you develop your skills and learn along the way!

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Answering sales inquiries both over the counter, by phone and via email from consumers, trade customers, and automotive dealers

Preparing quotes for retail and distributor customers

Preparing appropriate documentation to complete sales

Stock ordering and liaising with our other branches and suppliers

Providing technical assistance, after sales service, and assistance with warranty claims

Placing bookings and providing the workshop with appropriate documentation for jobs.

The successful applicant should demonstrate the following skills and experience:

A passion for 4x4s (vehicles, parts, and accessories), looking for a career in the industry

Excellent communicator with an enthusiasm for great customer service

Experience in a customer service role (preferred, but not essential)

Own transport for work

A stable work history

Good computer literacy skills

Reliable, punctual & hardworking

Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team

Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
