Your Role, Your Impact
We have an exciting new role in our Children's Therapy Support Service for a Team Leader.
In partnership with the Manager Community Health Pediatric and Counselling, and Program Director Primary Care, you'll play a key role in developing, managing, and ensuring the sustainability of these services across diverse regions. This role collaborates with a broad range of stakeholders, including internal teams (Carelink, HR, NCPLs) and external partners (NDIA, Quality and Safeguards Commission), to achieve positive therapeutic outcomes for the individuals we support.
This role requires a strong focus on compliance, evidence-based practices, and innovative service delivery, all while maintaining financial sustainability. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring services meet legislative requirements, and driving continuous improvement.
Manage performance of the team in line with targets, outcomes and any other Key Performance Indicators; and work with team members, providing support and coaching, to be able to deliver effectively and efficiently
Have a physical presence across multiple sites to support staff who may be seeing customers in clinic.
Ensure roster of both personnel and customer appointments to maximise service provision and financial sustainability
Identify opportunities to translate new evidence into practice and new innovations that may contribute to the evidence base
Monitor and ensure high standards of quality service delivery for the Therapy Support Services team
Work with the Manager to develop and implement operational plans and ensure compliance is adhered to for all programs to minimise risk.

Who We’re Looking For
Leadership experience in a healthcare setting
Relevant qualification, preferably Allied Health, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology or Developmental Educator
AHPRA registration or registration with relevant professional body
Significant pediatric experience
Current state-based driver’s license
