What started as one friendly game of soccer in 2014, SportUP has grown into Brisbane’s largest social sports club for adults who want to get playing social sport again during their work week.
SportUP currently has 5,738 members playing social Netball, Basketball, Football (Soccer), and Volleyball in our 16 Brisbane & Gold Coast venues every single week!
At the end of the day, our mission is to help people feel happier, build friendships, get fitter - and have fun doing it!
We're looking for the right person to join the team to ensure that; there are great vibes & good times are had at our Brisbane south side locations 🕺.

A day in the role looks like this:
Afternoon (before games):
Assist in marketing South Side Brisbane or Gold Coast venues by putting up banners & flyers as well as talking to local businesses
Picking up sports and first aid equipment to ensure your venues are well equipped
Assisting the General Manager in managing the referee roster for South Side & Gold Coast venues
Attending weekly strategy meetings
Evening (at games):
Attend venues in the evening to ensure our competitions are running smooth and have a great, fun vibe. Basically make sure everyone is having a good time!
You'll be talking to teams & individuals at games about their feedback, as well as being responsible for renewing them into future seasons
Assist the General Manager in trialling, onboarding and training referees
Managing equipment boxes are well stocked and equipment is all in working order
Posting on social media to show how much fun everyone is having!
Monitoring the SportUP phone line

About you:
You love talking to people! You have been described as approachable, outgoing, and fun.
You're organised, and have high attention to detail

Need to have:
Experience and genuine enjoyment of talking to people in-person
A vehicle and drivers licence
First Aid & CPR certification (can be obtained once hired)
You live or would like to work afternoons and evenings on the south side of Brisbane
Role Specifics:
Casual Position (10 -28 hours a week)
Shifts available Monday - Thursday afternoon & evenings
