The role

Join the iconic Rose an Crown Hotel 'WA oldest Pub' as an Assistant Venue Manager in our Historic Guildford, location. This is a casual min 30hrs or fulltime 38hr role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to be part of an innovative growing hospitality business.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Manager in overseeing daily venue operations

Focus will be F&B an events, this is a well supported role

Providing exceptional customer service and managing customer inquiries

Updating pos & help with stock control & general management

Coordinating staffing daily schedules

Handling cash and financial transactions

Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety and licensing regulations

Supporting event planning and coordination

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

What we're looking for

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Previous hotel experience in a similar ala carte restaurant & /- or events

Hold current RGL WA 'approved managers card' & food handling certificate

Strong customer service and problem-solving skills

Reservation & Point of sale FOH & back of house computer skills

Demonstrated proficiency in cash handling and financial management

Knowledge of relevant health, safety and licensing regulations

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
