Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, open-minded, and organised individual to take on the role of Dental Receptionist. This is a key position within our practice, requiring excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively with both the team and patients. As the receptionist in our practice, you will be the primary point of contact for our patients, responsible for ensuring smooth operations, maintaining a calm demeanour during busy periods, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting and assisting patients as they arrive and depart

Answering phone calls and handling appointment scheduling

Managing patient inquiries and ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction

Maintaining and updating patient records in our practice management system

Coordinating with orthodontists and the clinical team

Ensuring smooth office operations and efficient patient flow

Handling billing, accounts, and insurance processes for patients and practice

Supporting the practice with administrative tasks and other duties as needed

About You:

Strong organisational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Friendly, approachable, and open-minded personality

Previous experience in a reception or customer service role (experience in a healthcare setting is preferred)

Experience in a dental practice, either clinical or reception is a plus

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A positive and professional attitude

Proficiency in using practice management software is an advantage, we use Ortho2 Edge
