Turnbulls Hire / Kangaroo Rentals is an family owned Vehicle Hire business , operating from 6 locations throughout Victoria and 1 location in Tasmania.
As the Australian affiliate for Economy Rent a Car , we offer a full range of small to large passenger vehicles for the retail market from our Tullamarine and Avalon Airports depots.
This full time position is based at Tullamarine .
About the role
As Branch Manager you will provide leadership to staff , with the aim to achieve the key objectives of the company and build a strong brand in the industry. He/she will be responsible for the overall performance of the Melbourne and Avalon Airport branches in all operational areas. Achievement of Key Performance Indicators in the areas of customer service, internal business processes, staff management, logistics and fleet management.
Job responsibilities:
Manage logistics, day to day operations to ensure adequate support is available in areas of Customer Service, People, Fleet and IT.
Manage and control fleet between depots, maintenance, quality control and overall fleet management strategy and execution.
Ensure Customer Satisfaction are met through guidance and solutions provided to customer service team.
Provide guidance, direction and communication solutions in handling customer complaints, damage management, coordination between customer, insurance and suppliers
Manage Rates to be competitive in a very dynamic market.
Training and development of all employees.
Manage Required Administrative Tasks, Controls and Reports.
Develop the key anchor client/customer relationship through value added initiatives, innovative service and solutions.
Requirements:
Experience in managing logistics and day to day operations preferably from transportation, rental industry or similar industries.
Proven track record in leadership and team management
Experience in managing and providing solutions in customer issues
Understanding of business operations and management
Be a strong communicator, who can confidently explain information regarding the customers rental
Passionate for meeting people from all walks of life and engaging with them as they start their holidays.
Attention to detail when processing paperwork, and cleaning vehicles
Have great time management - able adapt to changing operational conditions
Be available to work variable shifts, including weekends (ie Tullamarine Office hours 7am to 7pm)
Hold a full manual transmission drivers licence. LR/MR preferred but not essential.
