Rose Park Psychology is a private psychology practice located in Kensington, SA. For over 20 years, we've provided exceptional therapy services to our clients and working closely with medical practices. We have a small team of receptionists and are looking for two people to join our team.

About the job

We are currently seeking 2 part time receptionists each with a flexible, positive "can-do" attitude. We are offering 20 hours a week ongoing, as a casual or permanent part time basis. Some after hours work may be needed. A full time position would be considered for the right applicant.

About us:

Rose Park Psychology is a private psychology practice located in Rose Park Adelaide. We provide community-based services to infants, children, adolescents and adults and older persons to support their development and participation in their life activities. We are a clinical psychology practice, seeing patients who have Medicare Mental Health care plans, NDIS funding or who are private clients. We offer a high level, confidential psychological services in a high-quality setting. As an organisation, Rose Park Psychology prioritizes building a fantastic team culture and working to make a real difference to everyday lives of our clients.

There are 12 consulting offices and an existing team of receptionists. Our practice has a buzz of productivity and warm support. You will be providing administration to a group of psychologists and their clients. You will be part of a small but well-organised administration team welcoming clients to the practice, booking appointments, invoicing and managing the clients and the administrative process. .

The opportunity:

Answering the phone and providing information

Being knowledgeable about our services and the individual interests of the psychologists

Making and managing appointments, matching the client’s needs to the best psychologist for them

Collecting client information, maintaining client privacy and accurate data entry;

Answering enquiries via phone/web/email;

Building rapport/positive relationships with our valued clients;

Building rapport/positive relationships with our referral base of medical practices.

Processing NDIS claims as well as other accounts and invoicing duties;

Assisting our therapists with administration tasks relevant to therapy;

General typing and computer work.

Efficiently use our practice management software.

What do you need to join? Training is provided on the job. The following attributes are required

Knowledge of Medicare administration of mental health care plans and private health refunds;

Knowledge of NDIS administrative requirements/funding packages, or similar;

Strong customer service and communication skills - face-to-face, via telephone and in written correspondence with the ability to build rapport with clients and families;

Experience with practice management software, Medicare, Tyro, Medipass and Eftpos will be advantageous;

Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Google docs;

To be a team player and enjoy working in and creating a fun-filled environment for our staff, and our clients including children and families:

Compliance - Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check. (Can be obtained upon recruitment)

Remuneration

Remuneration is dependent on age and experience.
