Our client, is a national insurance builder with over 15 years of experience across Australia, specializing in the insurance construction sector for both residential and commercial properties. Amidst exciting growth, they are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assessing team leader to join their team.

About the Role
Due to the company's growth, they are seeking an experienced assessing team leader and or a senior assessor looking to progress within their career.

• Review SOW for complex claims, all re-roof SOWs and claims over $100k
• Offer guidance on compliance and warranty requirements in accordance with the National Construction Code and Australian Standards
• Follow-up assessors on outstanding/ Overdue claims
• Implement new internal insurance processes
• Providing mentorship to team members and holding one-on-one meetings with the assessment team
• Address complex claims and escalations with insurance companies
• Conduct site visits with assessors to observe their processes
• Spot opportunities for improvement to enhance performance.
• Asses sick leave, timesheets, and annual leave
• Assisting in other departments when required

About you

• 4+ years experience in a similar role with an insurance builder
• Direct Insurer industry experience, and senior assessors currently mentoring team members, considered
• Experience working for an insurance or residential builder
• Proven ability to lead and mentor team members
