This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, dynamic, qualified plumber to join our team as the Schedule Call X Call Manager. You will bring a positive attitude, be warm and friendly with excellent technical skills, great communication and an autonomous nature with the desire to own the role.

You will be joining a fast paced team environment in a Leadership position that includes a variety of responsibilities

The successful applicant will be a person that possesses the following skills and attributes:

Dispatch and manage plumbing technicians on a call by call basis.

Monitor technician progress and availability through out the day.

Optimize job routes and schedule to reduce down time.

Communicate with the customer service rep or customers regarding scheduling updates.

Ensure technicians are properly briefed on each job.

Identify technician short falls and training needs to improve safety, productivity and profitability and notify the Plumbing and Roofing Manager.

Collaborate with office staff to maintain smooth workflow and resolve issues.

Monitor budgets and costs on service jobs.

Ensure that all executed jobs align to our mission statement, vision, and values.

Participate actively in weekly management meeting and execute tactical and operational plans assigned.

Clearly communicate service department goals and KPIs to relevant staff.

To be successful in this role you must have the following skills and attributes:

Outstanding plumbing skills and job / product knowledge.

Minimum of 5 years plumbing industry experience.

Previous experience as a tech/sales supervisor.

Clear criminal history (inline with specific customer requirements).

Drivers licence - C class or above.

Proven ability to be organised and complete tasks on time.

Enjoy providing excellent customer service.

Excellent communication skills (by email and phone).

Be a problem solver with the ability to think on your feet to resolve issues quickly.

Be able to manage multiple jobs at the same time.

Competent using all mainstream IT operating systems, including cloud based software systems (training will be provided for our specific operating systems).

Have a warm and friendly personality.

Lead and inspire all staff to create a positive team based culture that is results focused and driven towards success.
