Are you a proven leader in call centre sales and operations? Do you have the skills to build, train, and manage a high-performance team while also ensuring seamless day-to-day operations?
We are looking for a Call Centre Operations Manager to take our existing team and resources and develop them into a scalable, results-driven operation that consistently delivers 30+ solar, battery and heat pump sales per week.
We are a Melbourne based Retailer who, since inception have experienced a huge amount of growth. Sunrise Innovations provide superior products affordable for all Australian homes and businesses, with exceptional customer service and highest quality workmanship. We are a well established brand in the solar industry and have a proven track record of installing high quality solar and heat pump solutions leading to many happy customers who are now saving thousands of dollars off their electricity bills (400+ 5 star Google Reviews).
Given recent announcements and the database we have built over the last 8 years, we are very well placed to tap into our existing 6,000+ installations and cross sell our Battery, Heat Pump and Air Conditioner offering. We are looking for a proven sales and operations gun to take us to the next level.

Attractive package with uncapped commissions and base wage of $150k+ dependent upon what you have to offer. Realistically, you will be underperforming if you’re OTE is less than $200k.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Team Development
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales consultants and lead generators to maximise performance.
Coach and train staff on objection handling, closing techniques, and sales scripts.
Create performance-based incentive structures to drive motivation and results.
Manage recruitment and retention, ensuring the team grows sustainably.
Handle team conflicts and performance issues while maintaining high morale.
2. Operational & Process Management
Optimise call centre workflows to improve efficiency and minimise downtime.
Manage lead distribution, ensuring maximum conversions and no lead wastage.
Use CRM systems (HubSpot) for tracking performance and data management.
Monitor KPIs, including calls per day, conversion rates, and revenue targets.
Ensure compliance with sales regulations, scripts, and ethical selling practices.
3. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement
Refine scripts, improve lead handling, and enhance closing techniques. Maximise conversion rates from inbound, online, and outbound leads.
Use data analytics to track performance trends and adjust strategies.
Scale the team and processes to meet growing sales targets.
4. Strong Communication & Problem-Solving
Clearly articulate goals, strategies, and feedback to the team.
Adapt quickly to challenges in sales, staffing, or operational issues.
Identify problems before they escalate and implement proactive solutions.
5. Organisational & Strategic Thinking
Manage multiple responsibilities effectively without micromanaging.
Allocate staff, tools, and technology efficiently to improve performance.
Have a long-term vision for expanding and scaling the call centre.
What We Need From You:
✔ Proven experience in building and managing a call centre team (preferably in residential or commercial solar or high-ticket sales).
✔ A strong understanding of call centre operations, sales processes, and KPI management.
✔ The ability to optimise workflows, reduce lead wastage, and improve conversion rates.
✔ Experience with CRM systems and data-driven decision-making.
✔ A hands-on, results-driven approach—you’re not just a manager; you’re a leader who ensures the team hits targets.
✔ A strategic thinker who is always proactive and looking at what is next.
