JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Prepare authentic Thai Cuisine as per the menu
  • Recommend daily specials and changes to menu as required
  • Knowledge of food hygiene
  • Train kitchen staff ( trainee chefs, kitchen hands, etc )
  • Responsible for stock ordering and stock control ( Thai and Lao spices, herbs, meats, fruits, etc.)
  • Responsible for cleaning of kitchen in accordance with council requirements

SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum 5 years experience in cooking Thai Cuisine
  • Experience in work in a high-standard hotel or restaurant
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work in a team environment
