Ischia Restaurant is an Italian restaurant serving traditional dishes and authentic woodfired pizza in laid back surroundings of Beaufort Street.

We are currently looking for qualified and talented Chefs and Cooks for full time position to work with our kitchen team.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

Ensure food preparation and presentation adheres to company standards.

Work effectively within the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service and products to guests.

Demonstrate a working understanding of food, hygiene and safety principles.

Adherence to House Policies and Procedures, including OH&S legislation.

Skills and Experience:

Related cookery qualification is preferred and or at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.

Meticulous and have a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Safe and accurate knife skills.

Experience in pizza making

Knowledge and experience in a variety of different cooking methods.

Flexibility with working hours including evenings and weekends.

Ability to contribute to planning for menu specials.
