About the Role:

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food, following recipes, and maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and safety. You will work closely with chefs and kitchenhands, contributing to menu planning and assisting in training kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up workstations and operate kitchen equipment

Measure and weigh ingredients

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes

Season food during cooking and present dishes attractively

Prepare food to meet special dietary requirements

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Monitor stock levels and assist in food requirement estimation

Contribute to menu planning

Assist in training and mentoring kitchen staff

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

At least 1-2 years of experience working in a commercial kitchen

Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery

Strong knowledge and skills in cookery

Commitment to maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety

A positive attitude and a passion for cooking
