About Wise:

Wise is a family owned and operated winery, distillery and restaurant located at Eagle Bay in the Northern part of the Margaret River GI. Established in 1991, Wise is well known for crafting exquisite wines that show case the region's unique terroir. With a 5 red star winery rating from Halliday, Wise is seen as one of the greatest producers in Australia. As a family owned and operated business, we pride ourselves on quality, sustainability, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. We are looking for a dedicated individual who shares our passion for fine wine, premium spirits, fine cuisine with a laser focus on exceptional customer service to represent our brand and engage with our valued guests in our tasting room.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence: Greet and engage with guests, providing them with an outstanding and informative wine and spirit tasting experience.

Sales and Promotions: Effectively promote and sell our range of wines and spirits, ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience and a purchase they are excited about. Drive sales and meet sales targets through proactive engagement with visitors.

Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our wines and spirits, the wine making and distillation process, the Margaret River region and the family history of Wise, to share with visitors.

Customer Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with visitors, encouraging repeat business and club memberships.

Stock Management: Monitor cellar door inventory, assist with stock replenishment, and ensure displays are visually appealing.

Cellar Door Housekeeping: Follow daily procedures to maintain an inviting and well-organized, clean and tidy tasting room, reflecting our brand values.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a passionate, charismatic individual with a genuine interest in fine wine and premium spirits.

A candidate with previous cellar door, sales or hospitality experience. WSET 3 or equivalent will be advantageous.

Someone with excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers and create a warm welcoming atmosphere in line with our family values.

A team member with strong sales abilities, this is a sales focused role, and with a goal of achieving targets and providing value to customers.

A team player who thrives in a fast paced dynamic environment, the role can be physically demanding.

YOU MUST be able to work weekends and public holidays.

You will hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate, Approved Manager and/or a Fork lift License will both prove advantageous.

Have a valid drivers license. You will be required to make local deliveries and attend off-site events.

You will have the right to work in Australia with no restrictions.
