We are looking for someone guest-focussed and product-orientated, who wants to immerse themselves in the Daylesford Cider brand and share our passion for genuine craft cider with all those who visit our venue and buy our cider.
This role requires strong hospitality skills, so your ability to offer personalised customer service across both the cellar-door tasting room and restaurant is essential. Being an integral part of our lunch service, hosting one-on-one cider tastings, organising group events and running tours are all key components of what we offer.

A successful candidate must also be adept at working independently and be able to show strong organisational and multitasking abilities in order to fulfil the administrative side of the role. This would include responding to email enquiries, maintaining strong relationships with wholesale stockists and acquiring new stockists, co-ordinating distribution, launching new ciders both online and in-house, processing online sales and using our CRM platform.
The planning and execution of one-off events and product launches, and liaising closely with the business owners to help implement strategic business and sales initiatives to drive growth are also part of this role.

We don’t expect you to be a Daylesford Cider-whizz before you start… all training and product knowledge will be provided in-house. Come with a passion for the food and drinks industry and a strong desire to learn, and we will get you up to scratch in no time!

Job Specifications;
Daylesford Cider is a small family run business and the hiring of this position coincides with the expansion of the business and achieving new objectives.
The role is full-time capacity, on a 5-day working week of Wednesday to Sunday or Friday to Tuesday. Working weekends is essential. We offer very attractive, day-time only hours of 9:30am to 5:00pm, with the very occasional evening shift. We are always willing to be flexible for the right candidate, however the ability to work weekends is essential. We would also consider a 4-day working week for the right applicant.
This is a long-term opportunity with potential for increased responsibility and the advancement to a leadership role as Cellar Door Manager.

The salary will be negotiated based on applicant’s qualifications and experience.

High energy level with a hands-on approach

Experience in events, weddings and corporate days.

Experience in wholesale / sales driven

Strong business acumen

Competence in marketing, social media, Woocommerce, ME&U all favourable.

Capable trainer with keenness to share product knowledge and deliver successful F&B training

Daylesford Cider is located down a quiet country lane, 5kms east of the iconic, bustling town of Daylesford, 1.5hrs from Melbourne. Mackie and Clare have been nurturing the organic orchards and making an impressive range of craft ciders here on the farm since 2015. Across 10 years, they have expanded the range of ciders from 4 to 14 styles, have opened a casual restaurant 7 days a week, have won a number of medals, trophies and awards and established themselves as a prominent player in the Australian craft cider scene.
