Slow Wine Co is a small family business in the central west of NSW. We specialise in boutique cool climate wines made in small batches with a minimal intervention strategy. Vineyard was established in 1990 and has grown to have 12ha under vine on the family farm. The job is based in our Millthorpe Cellar Door which also turns into a Tapas style wine bar on Friday and Saturday nights. The job initially involves working in both the cellar door conducting tastings and sales, as well as working during our Tapas wine bar. Happy to negotiate hours around family, university, holidays etc. As more experience is gained, more opportunities and roles can be given. Award rates based on experience and skills but can move up levels quickly for highly motivated people. Option to move to part/full time by negotiation. You would be working as part of a small team who like to have fun whilst providing exceptional experiences for customers. We can provide opportunity for regional work requirements for Working Holiday Visas.

Qualifications & experience

Current RSA is essential - this can be attained by a short online or in person course quickly if you don't already have it

Experience with wine industry highly desirable but not essential. Full training provided.

Great customer service is essential.

Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Sales experience is also preferred.

Stocktakes.

Food prep for tapas service.

Cellar door hours Thursday to Sunday.
