Building Response Australia is seeking a new team member within the accounts payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) space.

Australian Response Group, comprising of Building Response Australia, Restoration Response Australia, and Roofing Response Australia, is based in Slacks Creek and specialises in comprehensive insurance repairs for residential and commercial properties. We also oversee a variety of high-end and large-scale commercial projects.

We offer a complete, end-to-end service to several of Australia’s leading insurance companies, handling property damage repairs from start to finish.

About the role:

Australian Response Group is currently offering an opportunity for an Accounts Officer to join our team. This role involves the processing of both accounts payable and receivable, with career growth a real possibility.

This role is fast paced, and will require someone with a minimum of 2 years in the accounts space.

Responsibilities:

Accounts receivable – This will consist of repair jobs, make safe works and assessment reports/specialist reports.

Processing contractor & supplier invoices

Inter company accounts processing

Payments to contractors and suppliers

Account reconciliation

Timesheet processing

Liaise with suppliers and contractors for follow up of outstanding invoices

Month end reporting

Reviewing supplier statements and checking for any outstanding invoices

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong customer service skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Detail orientated

A proactive, "can-do" attitude.

Enthusiasm for learning and career growth.

Flexible and adaptable in handling tasks.

Ability to multitask effectively.

Quickly adapt to changing priorities.

Experience in the construction/trade industry is a plus.

Xero & Quickbooks experience

Prime Ecosystem advantageous

Salary will be commensurate of experience.
