We’re seeking a motivated and skilled receptionist to join our dedicated and supportive team on a permanent part-time basis.

About Peaceful Mind Psychology

Peaceful Mind Psychology is a warm and professional private practice with locations in Armadale, Hawthorn, and Prahran. We primarily support young people aged 18-40 across a variety of concerns, with a special interest in eating disorders.

Our team of over 50 psychologists is supported by our unique reception team, which operates entirely remotely. Instead of a traditional reception desk, all administrative tasks are performed from the comfort of our receptionists’ home offices.

About the Role

As a receptionist, you’ll provide reception, phone, and administrative support to our psychologists across our three locations. This is a permanent part-time position requiring 3 half-days per week (8:30am-1pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays) with flexibility for additional hours when needed.

What We're Looking For:

We’re seeking a candidate who:

● Has prior experience as a receptionist in a psychology private practice or similar healthcare setting.

● Demonstrates strong administrative skills, including tasks such as rostering and basic financial management.

● Can prioritise this role and is available to work consistently without other competing commitments.

● Has excellent communication skills and a warm, friendly demeanour.

● Is adaptable, proactive, and brings a “can-do” attitude to their work.

● Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment.

● Is available to start from 21st May

Requirements:

This is a remote role, so you’ll need:

● A suitable home office setup.

● A laptop for accessing our software systems and emails.

● Mental Health First Aid certification (can be completed before starting the role)
