We are seeking a highly capable Marketing and Consumer Communications Executive to contribute to the delivery of impactful national campaigns and communications strategies. This role requires a professional with proven marketing expertise, strong written communication skills, and experience in digital campaign execution, stakeholder engagement, and event marketing.
Key Responsibilities
· End-to-End Campaign Management: Lead the development, execution, and evaluation of national marketing campaigns — from initial planning and content development through to implementation, performance tracking, and post-campaign reporting.
· Digital & Social Media Marketing: Manage all aspects of digital marketing including organic and paid social media strategy, SEO-driven website content, and consumer eDMs using platforms such as Constant Contact and Vision6.
· Content Development: Create and oversee the production of high-quality, brand-aligned content including media releases, blogs, newsletters, promotional collateral, and website copy.
· Event Marketing: Coordinate the marketing and promotion of national events and industry activations, including planning, logistics, branding, and stakeholder communications.
· Market Research & Consumer Insights: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, analyse consumer trends, and apply findings to inform marketing strategies and messaging.
· Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance against KPIs, providing actionable insights to guide future marketing activity.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain productive relationships with internal departments, industry stakeholders, sponsors, and external partners to ensure aligned and effective campaign delivery.
Required Qualifications and Experience
· Tertiary qualification in digital marketing (required)
· Postgraduate degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (required)
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar marketing and communications role (required)
Key Skills and Attributes
· Demonstrated experience in content creation and copywriting, with a portfolio of written materials.
· Strong working knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact, Vision6), including segmentation, automation, and compliance with privacy legislation.
· Proven ability to manage and report on paid digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Meta, Google Ads).
· Practical experience in event promotion and coordination, preferably in a national or tourism-focused environment.
· Familiarity with SEO best practices, web content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and analytics tools.
· Ability to interpret and apply media, advertising, and privacy laws, including the Spam Act and consumer data obligations.
· High-level interpersonal skills, with experience managing external partnerships and sponsorships. Knowledge of contract law and ability to draft and review sponsorship agreements is desirable.
