Office Manager - Accounts / Admin

Location: Wolli Creek, NSW 2205
Work Type: Full-time | Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 + Super

We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to oversee our administrative and financial operations, ensuring smooth office functions and compliance with industry standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Management

Oversee daily office operations, schedules, and correspondence.

Maintain office efficiency by organizing systems, layouts, and procurement.

Manage office supplies inventory and vendor coordination.

Financial Administration

Handle invoicing, billing, and expense tracking.

Work closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts and process payroll.

Prepare financial reports and support budget planning.

Human Resources & Compliance Support

Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee record management.

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

Coordinate training sessions and maintain safety documentation.

Project & Customer Support

Assist project managers with administrative tasks and documentation.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries.

Support contract management and liaise with subcontractors.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in an Office Manager or Senior Administrative role, preferably in construction, demolition, or a related industry.

Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in invoicing, payroll, and financial reporting.

Advanced proficiency in Xero (3-5 years of experience or active certification preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management software.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with team members, vendors, and clients professionally.

Knowledge of workplace health and safety compliance and best practices.

Ability to work independently and take initiative while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in administrative tasks.

High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
