About the role

We are seeking an experienced Specialty Coffee Barista/Cafe Manager to join our team at Little Lunch Cafe in Wyong, NSW. This full-time role will see you serving award winning ONA coffee to our discerning customers in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

Expertly preparing a range of specialty coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, filter coffee, and specialty tea

Manager duties can include: Rostering, Stock Management, Updating Menus incl. costings and Social Media Creation.

Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming cafe experience

Maintaining a clean and organised work station, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained

Collaborating with the wider hospitality team to ensure efficient and seamless service

Participating in ongoing training to continually develop your coffee knowledge and barista skills

Some food preparation will be required

What we're looking for

At least 2 years' experience as a Specialty Coffee Barista, with a passion for specialty coffee and excellent technical skills incl basic machine maintenance

Previous Cafe Management experience will be highly regarded.

A passion for coffee with an understanding of brew recipes, concepts of balance and taste of coffee

A customer-focused attitude and the ability to provide outstanding service and build a rapport with regular clientele

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A team player who is able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and help them build their skills

Have some knowledge on contact creation for social media

Experience with monitoring and ordering stock

Food handling experience is preferred
