About the role:

This is a full-time position and is essential in supporting the day-to-day operations of our accounting practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review client letters and correspondence

Maintain accurate client records and prepare reports

Manage client onboarding and offboarding

Handle company incorporations, manage company changes and lodge necessary documentation with ASIC

Process invoicing

Lodge Tax return and BAS

Assist with ATO queries including payment arrangements

Prepare and send electronic signature packs

Answer phone calls and handle client administrative queries

Provide general administrative support to Partners, Accountants and Bookkeepers as required

Support SMSF Administration

About You

To thrive in this role, you should have:

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role—ideally within a boutique public practice accounting firm.

Confidence and initiative to take ownership of assigned tasks.

Experience with Xero, Xero Practice Manager, Now Infinity, ATO portal, ASIC Connect, and ATO Mate (ideal but not essential).

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.

A motivated team-player mindset with a proactive “can-do” attitude.

High attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational abilities.

A professional and polished presence.
