We're on the hunt for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our in-house marketing team. If you love crafting compelling stories, building media relationships, and driving brand awareness, this role is for you.

As a key part of our marketing team, you’ll shape how Invest Blue communicates with our clients, the media and the broader community. From written comms to media outreach and content creation, you'll be at the forefront as the voice of our brand with the flexibility to work from home or in one of our 30 locations across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Public Relations & Media Engagement:

Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance Invest Blue’s brand presence.

Build and maintain relationships with media.

Draft press releases, media pitches, and responses to inquiries.

Content & Storytelling:

Write compelling articles, client resources, email campaigns and press releases that reinforce our brand voice.

Develop insightful white papers and thought leadership pieces to position Invest Blue as a leading voice in financial advice.

Crisis Communications & Reputation Management:

Support the team in handling crisis communication, crafting timely and strategic messaging.

Prepare press statements, talking points, and responses during periods of public scrutiny.

Collaboration & Community Engagement:

Work closely with marketing, leadership, and client loyalty teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.

Support Invest Blue’s regional offices by developing community-driven marketing initiatives, strengthening local engagement through events and partnerships.

About You

You’re a natural storyteller with a passion for crafting messages that resonate. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and love collaborating with others to bring a brand’s voice to life.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in media relations, PR strategy, and content creation.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Proficiency in social media platforms, media monitoring tools, and Microsoft Office.

A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a creative flair.

Bonus: Experience in the financial services industry (but not essential).

Salary & Next Steps

Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 (inclusive of superannuation), based on experience.
