My client is a Global Freight Forwarder with a standout brand and service across the world. As a leader in the Australasian logistics sector, they are an innovative service provider that embraces collaboration, learning, and development. Due to continuous growth & expansion they are looking to add someone to their Customer Service team based in Eagle Farm. Reporting to the General manager, you will work in a team of 4 with a strong focus on supporting key accounts, and process & compliance excellence.

The Role
Your main responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with local and overseas carriers
• Cover a portfolio of clients moving cargo
• FCL, LCL cargo duties & Air
• Handling of Customer specific enquiries or requirements
• import / Export Consignment tracking and monitoring
• Ensure all cargo is clear and all impediments are met to enable delivery
• Build strong and lasting relationships with customers and provide second-to-none customer service.
• Take full responsibilities and end-to-end ownership of customer shipments and issues.
• Act and communicate proactively and keep customers informed of any issues or changes in the booking.

Your Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role in freight forwarding
• Knowledge of import/export operations and customs procedures
• Relationship-building skills and strong communication abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail, along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Prior experience using CargoWise (CW1) is highly regarded
