You are a customer service specialist with end to end export sea freight experience. You deliver excellence in compliance and administration to ensure client satisfaction. You work well within a team and can also fly solo when needed. If this sounds like you then we’d love to chat.

About our client:

Our client is a well-established international freight forwarding company. They are leaders in moving various cargo and pride themselves on quality service.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of export sea freight operations and customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage client and shipment communications
• Compliance with local regulatory requirements
• Thorough management and completion of shipping documentation
• Tracking all shipments, including transhipments
• High level customer service
• Liaising with international agents, suppliers and consignee’s
• Coordinate cartage for all LCL FCL and FAK transport
• Invoicing
• Confirm receipt of and receive original HBL from consignee including packing list, packing declaration, commercial invoice and Dangerous Goods Certificate
• Other duties as required by the Branch Manager

Skills and experience:

• Export sea freight operations experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• High level communication skills – verbal and written
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Experience in processing and completing all shipping documents
• CargoWise knowledge and experience
