Lux Interiors are seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in residential renovation work to join our team on a full-time basis, developing accurate estimates and budgets while working closely with our directors, in-house design team and clients.

Duties & responsibilities:

Carry out first principles estimates, calculating project-specific costs based on detailed studies of the required resources to accomplish each work activity

See initial concept designs through to build completion, ensuring projects stay within budget and on track

Interpretation of preliminary designs, specifications, and drawings

Liaise with clients as their central point of contact for any contract queries, quotes, and budget management throughout the renovation

Build strong and trusting relationships with subcontractors and suppliers

Preparation and submission of tenders

Price and process change orders as required within projects

Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates

Maintain accurate estimate records and documentation

Experience & attributes:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the luxury custom home building market

Current residence in Perth, WA

Extensive knowledge of the building industry and renovation processes

Strong understanding of Australian Building Standards

Confidence in a client-facing position with the ability to build positive client relationships

Keen critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong time management, communication, and organisational skills

Renovation Experience is preferred
