We’re seeking two commercially savvy, highly driven Sales Managers – Regional Markets to take full command of their region. If you know your way around a P&L, can wrangle a call cycle like a pro, and see yourself in a role with real national impact — this one’s for you.
About the Role
As Sales Manager, you will plan, develop, optimise, implement, and manage all channel interactions between Scandia Group and our retail, architectural and commercial customers. You’ll represent premium Australian brands with the polish and presence to match.
This is a leadership role with full accountability for regional sales performance, range management, forecasting, promotional execution, and stakeholder engagement. Reporting directly to Head of Business Development & Marketing, you will also shape the go-to-market strategy, deliver margin and sales targets, and help futureproof our market share.
What You'll Do
Lead regional sales, operations, and merchandise partner to deliver exceptional results
Build strategies across independent hardware, big box, and commercial/architectural segments
Collaborate on marketing initiatives, POS, and content that drives conversion
Own major accounts and lead execution of promotional campaigns and merchandising displays
Identify and act on opportunities in the architect and specifier space
Guide the internal support team and coordinate training, KPIs, and proposals
Develop insights using ERP and BI tools (Netsuite, Phocas) to drive action in store
Shape ranging, grading, and pricing decisions in consultation with leadership
Lead by example, and leave no stone unturned when it comes to growth
What You Bring to the Table
A relevant tertiary qualification or a serious track record of commercial wins
Demonstrated sales leadership in a supplier or channel-led environment
The ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and influence across functions
High-level communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Familiarity with trade-based retail and/or commercial specification sectors
A hands-on, results-driven approach with resilience and adaptability in spades
