Join the thriving team at Salter Brothers Hospitality as a Regional Sales Manager.

Reporting to our Group Director of Sales you will work within a designated geographic region, leading and managing the sales function, driving the growth of corporate, MICE and leisure accounts, as well as enhancing revenue performance through both new and established partnerships.

Working closely with the Group Director of Sales, this role involves executing strategic sales plans, to achieve company objectives, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share.

This pro-active sales role is based in our Brisbane Central Services Office and will further strengthen and contribute to the success of Salter Brothers Hospitality.

The role and key duties;

Prospecting for new business opportunities that will contribute to increased account production from the Corporate, MICE and Leisure segments across the Salter Brothers Hospitality portfolio in Australia;

Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients and partners in the luxury travel market;

Strengthen our engagement with existing Corporate, MICE and Leisure partners through an account management plan;

Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.

Collaborate with hotel management to create tailored sales and marketing initiatives.

Work with the Director of Sales to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive occupancy and maximize revenue across Salter Brothers Hospitality properties within Australia;

Directing (but not completing) RFP proposals with Sales Coordination team;

Developing the annual sales strategy plan, taking into consideration business trends, market conditions and tourism forecasts (in conjunction with the Group Director of Sales);

Maintaining awareness of market rates, specifically local competitor rates;

Ensuring all key stakeholders are kept informed of key sales developments;

Attending local and international trade events to increase brand awareness of Salter Brothers Hospitality;

Working closely with the marketing team with the development of advertising collateral;

Working closely with Regional General Managers and Retreat Managers regarding sales requirements, actioning agreed items;

Collaborating with internal teams to enhance brand positioning and customer experience;

Provide leadership and mentorship to our sales coordinators and on property sales teams;

Provide weekly and monthly reporting as directed by the Group Director of Sales;

Attending weekly and monthly sales and organisational meetings as requested.

Essential criteria required to be considered;

Proven experience in a sales manager role within the hotel industry is essential;

A strong track record of increasing sales and building business;

Strong understanding of the luxury travel market and client expectations;

Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools;

Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills;

Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable sales strategies;

Leadership experience with a track record of achieving sales targets.

Flexibility to travel within the region as required.
